Approaches
A large number of approaches is mastered by the
consultants and course leaders associated with Oscar David Consultancy.
Those most frequently applied in training courses, counselling and coaching
sessions are:
- The Enneagram
The enneagram provides in-depth insight into personal motives
underlying behaviour. Our long experience with the enneagram is incorporated
in the EnneagramAcademy.
- Organizational Constellations
This is focussed approach clarifies
the organizational context and other influential factors in a highly expressive
and penetrating way. It is used for executive coaching. Our open management
course 'Coach and Context' also makes extensive use of organizational constellations.
- Working Conferences
One- or two-day long conferences whereby the consultant
functions primarily as a facilitator for constructive discussion of relevant
issues among the participants. The results achieved depend on the objectives.
Various different approaches may be applied within the framework of working
conferences.
- Open Space Technology
This approach is also used within working conferences.
In allows a large number of fundamental issues to be handled within a short
amount of time.
- Frameworks for Change
>A Management Game specially intended for teambuilding and
organizational development. Suitable for teams of 3 - 24 people, with a duration
of 3 days.
- The Transformation Game
A game for personal development, played in groups of four
people.
Duration: two days.
- Personal Inquiry
A simple method of clarifying deeper feelings and motives.
- Voice Dialogue
A method of gaining more insight into thought and feeling
processes. Primarily used within management coaching.
- The Biographic Method
A very accessible way of gaining a better overview of one's
history. Used to help determine career-related wishes and expectations. Frequently
applied within management coaching and management training; in some cases also
for team building.
