The wish for or necessity of bringing about structural or cultural change often go hand in hand. Cultural changes have to do with the way in which communication takes place within an organization, leadership methods, the degree of trust people have in each other and in the possibility of developing their talents. It is often relatively easy to formulate what the desired cultural changes are; anchoring those changes in reality takes time, and that requires patient attention.
